Just a quick mention of the fact that I have released version 0.02 of Katian to the world. You can download the .iso directly from here: katian-0.02.iso (1.2 GB). Just be aware that it’s all still very experimental at the moment. This will be the last version based on Ubuntu as I am moving to Fedora with my development efforts. You can keep up-to-date on the progress via Launchpad and I’ve also pushed some source files to Katian’s Gitorious repository.

I understand that the project probably isn’t much use to anyone at the current state, I just wanted to push it out there. Hell, why not?

On the agenda for the next version: Move to Fedora 12. After that: Fedora 13, get rid of PulseAudio and create packages for my own artwork & branding.
